Please be advised that EDIT 650 (Teaching and Learning Online) has been moved from Summer II to Summer I in the long term planning schedule, beginning in 2012. The reason for the change is actually quite exciting–the college has developed a new course in Advanced Online Teaching (EDIT 660) which, when approved, will be offered in second summer session! This will enable students to take both courses as a sequence, and will also enable students seeking the new online teaching endorsement to take all four courses for that curriculum during one summer. The new course, EDIT 660 is not officially approved yet, so it will not be advertised until February (estimated), but for planning purposes you need to know now that 650 has officially been moved to Summer I. Please contact your adviser if you have additional questions.
