We are now in the process of pre-advising for Spring 2013. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY SO YOU WILL UNDERSTAND HOW YOU WILL BE ADVISED FOR YOUR SPRING 2013 schedule!


Early C

hildhood, Elementary, HGTC Transfers in Early Childhood, and Special Education will all be advised via group advising sessions. Please click on the link below to sign up for a group advising session.

You only need to sign up for ONE session and please bring the following with you.

*Tentative schedule for Spring 2013

*Questions/Concerns you may have regarding your academic program

*Pencil and paper to take notes


NOTE: These are NOT drop-in sessions so please plan to arrive on time and be prepared to stay the entire time. If you must change your date for advising, please send an email to to change and please don’t wait till the last minute so that someone else can take your spot and we have time to pull their file for the session.


Physical Education and Middle Level Education Majors will be advised via individual appointments. You will need to go onto web advisor to register for an appointment. Follow the directions below:

*Put in username and password

*Go down to academic planning

*Click on Schedule academic advising appointment

*Put in username and password again

*Go to Spadoni College of Education

*Click Display Department Advisors

*Click on Amanda Darden

*Click Schedule an appointment: You will receive an email confirming your appointment with me. Please make certain you give a 24 hour notice when scheduling your
appointment so I will be prepared with your folder when you arrive and also don’t forget to cancel the appointment in case you are unable to make it to the allotted
appointment time.

I look forward to working with all of you to make certain you are prepared for entering the professional program in a timely and organized manner. Please be proactive and register NOW for either your group session or schedule your individual meeting with me as soon as possible. Personal responsibility and organization are both HUGE attributes for you as you are pursuing your degree to become a professional educator. I am here to help you succeed in that goal but you must also take responsibility for your academic path!


BE ADVISED: The ALL-MAJORS advising session on November 14th is reserved for those students who DO NOT practice personal responsibility in registering early for their advising meeting. DO NOT wait until the last minute and find yourself in this category!
